Montpellier were dragged further down the table after losing to Lens with Le Havre remaining bottom despite playing to a 1-1 draw against Angers in a game that saw both teams finish the game with ten men. Here are the major talking points of the round.
Dembele leapfrogs Greenwood in the Golden Boot Race
PSG maintained their top spot in the round after hitting Brest 5-2 in a game that saw Ousmane Dembele hit a hattrick. The Frenchman now has 14 goals, one above Greenwood who is taking Ligue One by storm in his first season in the French top flight.
Apart from Dembele, PSG’s other two goals were scored by Concalo Ramos with Brest’s consolations bagged by Romain Del Castilo and Ludovic Ajorque.
The win saw PSG maintain their 10-point gap at the top of the table with the French giants now on 50 points having failed to lose a game this season.
Marseille edges Lyon in a Five-Goal Thriller
Marseille kept pace with top team PSG following their hard-fought 3-2 win over Lyon on Sunday. After a goalless first half, visitors Lyon took a 53rd-minute lead through Corentin Tolisso.
Greenwood restored parity for the hosts eight minutes later before Adrien Rabiot gave them the lead three minutes later. Alexander Lacazette however restored Lyon’s parity from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute but Marseille had the last laugh when Luis Henrique notched the winner five minutes from time.

Rennes begin Beye’s era with a win
After sacking Jorge Sampaoli Stade Rennais began the Habib Beye era with an important 1-0 win over Strasbourg.
It was a tight contest between Rennes and Strasbourg as the two sides played to a scoreless first half at Roazhon Park and when the contest looked like it would end in a scoreless draw, Ludovic Blas broke the deadlock with a goal in the 89th minute. On a corner kick set piece, the ball found its way to an unmarked Blas whose quick shot beat Djordje Petrovic to give Rennes all three points and the first win of the Beye era.
