Yesterday was a decent day with the bookies and a good number of our tips were spot on. For the straight wins, four out of six came through. Inter and Barcelona disappointed us and could only settle for 2-2 and 1-1 draws respectively.
The goal market was flawless as all six of our picks in that category played out as we predicted. Moving on the goal-scorer section, it was pretty bland. Sterling and Kean failed to score but Werner found the back of the net. Lewandowski could not score because he didn’t even feature for Bayern Munich.
Today is another day and we hope to do even better than yesterday. Some good games are just around the corner and we’ve taken time to do due diligence on them. As usual, we’ll be bringing you some of the best tips you can go with for today.
Manchester United vs Arsenal Prediction
Manchester United and Arsenal will both be buoyed by big European wins when they meet at Old Trafford in Sunday’s Premier League clash.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer oversaw one of the most impressive results of his tenure in the Champions League in midweek, masterminding a 5-0 win over RB Leipzig that saw Marcus Rashford hit the first hat-trick of his career.
The Gunners bounced back from their home defeat against Leicester with a comfortable 3-0 win over Dundalk in the Europa League and will be looking to end their two-league game losing streak.
On paper, Manchester United are favorites to win this one given the venue and current form of both sides. Three of the last four meetings between this pair at this ground have resulted in draws and who knows if that could play out again.
However, this is one fixture that has never failed to disappoint over the years and never seems to follow the script at all. For today, we’ll stay clear of predicting either side to win.
Both teams to score
With Manchester United full of confidence on the attacking front, it’s more than likely they would get a goal or two. Arsenal have a defensive injury crisis at the moment and that could slightly favor the United forward line. In the same vein, Manchester United still doesn’t have the best of defenses either and it could be a game where the side who converts their chances the most wins. Bet9ja have 1.58 odds for this while Betking have 1.63 odds.
Over 2.5
There is every reason to see why this game has the potential to deliver a lot of goals. For starters, Rashford will be looking to continue his good form and Aubameyang will be looking to end his league drought. Asides these two, both sides have players that can score from all across the pitch as well. We’re expecting a good number of goals in this one. There is good value here with Bet9ja offering 1.70 odds and Betking offering 1.77.
Straight wins
Everton take on Newcastle at St. James’ Park and will be fired up to win. The Toffees suffered their first loss of the season with a shock 2-0 defeat to Southampton last time out. Carlo Ancelotti’s men look like they could be dark horses this season and they’re big favorites to get back to winning ways and take all three points. Bet9ja are offering a decent 2.13 odds while Betking have theirs at 2.23.
Still in the Premier League, Tottenham take on Brighton at home and they’ll equally be fired up for victory. Spurs also suffered a shock defeat in midweek at the hands of Royal Antwerp. Mourinho expressed his anger at that defeat and we can expect his players to put up a strong response today. Bet9ja have 1.63 odds while Betking have 1.67 odds.
Over to the Serie A, high-flying AC Milan take on Udinese in an away game and back to winning ways in the league will be the goal. The Rossoneri played out to a 3-3 draw with Roma last week and they would want to show it was only a ‘blip’. We expect them to win today. A good value here as Bet9ja are offering 1.84 odds and Betking have 1.87.
Over to reigning champions Juventus, they will also travel to struggling Spezia for their game today. Cristiano Ronaldo is finally coronavirus free but Pirlo has confirmed he won’t be starting today. Juve have drawn their last two league games and this will surely be a good chance for them to record a big win. We’re backing them to do so as well. Bet9ja have 1.38 odds and Betking have 1.45. Off to the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen take on Freiburg in an away game. Leverkusen are so far unbeaten in the league but suffered their first defeat this season in midweek, a shock 1-0 loss to Slavia Prague. They are expected to put in a response and get back to winning ways with this game. Bet9ja have 2.07 odds and Betking have 2.10.
Over 2.5
We already tipped Tottenham to win Brighton on home turf and we’re expecting them to do it convincingly as well. This game has a potential to bring a decent amount of goals. Bet9ja have 1.67 odds while Betking have 1.75 odds.
In similar fashion, we’re also backing AC Milan to win and we’re tipping them to add a number of goals to that win as well. Bet9ja have 1.76 odds while Betking have 1.80 odds.
Off to Ligue 1, Lyon take on Lille in what could be a pretty exciting clash. Both sides are unbeaten in their last five league games and it’s a game that remains unpredictable but is expected to deliver on the goal front. Bet9ja have 1.86 odds while Betking have 1.92.
In the Serie A, Napoli take on Sassuolo in another match with promise. Both sides are on very similar form with the same points. In fact, Napoli in third place are only ahead of fourth-place Sassuolo with one-goal difference. We expect a good number of goals in this one. Bet9ja have 1.40 odds while Betking have 1.50.
Anytime Goal scorer
Rashford
The Manchester United star is on decent form at the moment with at least a goal in his last three games in all competitions. He will fancy his chances against a weakened Arsenal backline. Moreover, he has a good scoring record in this fixture. There is massive value here with Bet9ja offering 2.75 odds and Betking offering 3.15 odds.
Depay
Lyon and Lille will battle it out in what is expected to be a close affair. Lille are higher on the table but there are reasons to think Lyon can claim a win today. If they’ll stand a chance of doing that, much of it will come to forward man Memphis Depay getting a goal or two. Another good value tip with Bet9ja offering 3.00 odds and Betking offering 3.15.
Calvert-Lewin
The Englishman has been a revelation this season and looks to be on decent form at the moment. He’s fast becoming a consistent goal threat for Everton and he’s a good shout to continue his impressive form against the Magpies. Bet9ja have 2.10 odds while Betking have 2.40.
Morata
With Ronaldo expected to feature from the bench, Morata is a good shout to score (provided he doesn’t stay offside). Against Barcelona, he had THREE goals disallowed due to offside. If he avoids that today, then yes we’re tipping him to get a goal for sure. Both Bet9ja and Betking have 2.10 odds for him to score.
