The Champions League is back again for the third match of the group stage and of course, there’s a lot to look forward to. Yesterday, Leicester City wrapped up the final game of the Premier League game-week with a 4-1 thumping of Leeds at Elland Road. It was an unexpected score-line to say the least.

Away from league action, we’re off to the continental front that never disappoints and gives us a lot to talk and also bet on.

Real Madrid vs Inter Prediction

Real Madrid welcome Inter to the Estadio Alfredo di Stefano on Tuesday evening in what is a hugely important game in Group B of the Champions League for both sides.

Neither team have recorded a victory after two games, with the Italians having claimed two draws and Zinedine Zidane’s men salvaging a point at Borussia Monchengladbach last week after losing to Shakhtar Donetsk the match prior.

Both outfits come into the game with a level of pressure they would not have expected to have after the opening two matches as neither have been at their best in Europe and domestically they have also had questions asked.

Inter are conceding more goals this season than last, having already let in 10 strikes in six Serie A games, while Real Madrid have consistently struggled to keep things as tight as they did in the previous campaign.

Both sides have strong scoring records but have been conceding goals, so we are backing a high-scoring Champions League clash in the Spanish capital.

Over 2.5 Goals               

Inter might be without star man Romelu Lukaku and that is obviously a big blow for his side. Regardless, we’re tipping this game to bring at least three goals when both heavyweights meet. Bet9ja are offering 1.47 odds while Betking have 1.55.

Both teams to score

Real Madrid have conceded a goal in their last four games and Inter have not been the best at the back as well. We expect both teams to show high attacking intent to win and that could result in at least a goal at both ends. Bet9ja have 1.40 odds while Betking have 1.47 odds.

Straight wins

Manchester City take on Greek side Olympiacos at the Etihad and will be looking to record another win in the Champions League. Given that City play Liverpool on Sunday, some players might be rested for their game today. Regardless, we still expect them to claim a win. Bet9ja have 1.19 odds while Betking have 1.26.

Elsewhere, Ajax travel to Midtjylland for their clash in Group D and they’ll be eager to take all three points as well. The Dutch giants have only one point from their opening two games and bottom-place Midtjylland could pose a great chance to claim their first win in the competition. Ajax are in a bit of a problem though as a few of their players tested positive for coronavirus yesterday. A bit depleted but we still expect them to win and the earlier circumstance should bring better odds. Bet9ja have 1.92 odds while Betking has 1.97.

Reigning Champions Bayern Munich travel to Austria to take on Salzburg in what could be an entertaining game. Salzburg have proven to be game-spoilers on many occasions and they will try again to do the same but we all know how Bayern can be against their opposition. Finally, Lokomotiv Moscow host La Liga side Atletico Madrid on home soil and it has the potential to go one way. After suffering a 4-0 thrashing to Bayern, Atletico have defeated Salzburg and they’ll be eager to claim another win. They have won their last three games in succession and they are on course to make it four at a go. Bet9ja have 1.40 odds while Betking have 1.45.

Shakthar Donetsk takes on Borussia Monchengladbach in the other fixture of Group B. This group has proven to be a high-scoring one so far. Shakthar already scored three goals against Real Madrid and Monchengladbach grabbed two as well. With both sides coming up against each other, we’re expecting a decent number of goals on ground for sure. Bet9ja have 1.55 odds and Betking have 1.60.

Another game that could easily have been the featured game for today is an interesting clash between Atalanta and Liverpool. We don’t exactly know what to expect from a win perspective but both of this sides have no problem scoring goals. A rested Robert ‘Lewan-goal-ski’ could pose a real problem for Salzburg’s backline as they have conceded five goals so far in the Champions League. The Polish striker missed just his 15th Bundesliga match for Bayern in his career at the club. Salah

The Egyptian has scored a goal in his last two games for Liverpool. He also has one goal in the Champions League this term. Joao Felix
