08/11/2020 – Daily Football Predictions

Yesterday was a good day to have a go at the bookies. There were really no shock results and most of the games played out as anyone would have thought.

We’ve mentioned so much about the fact that we’re on good form and we made the most of it yesterday.

Asides the ‘extra tip’ for Sheffield not to score against Chelsea, every single tip of ours from all categories came through. Even for the goal-scorer market, Lionel Messi scored just as we predicted (from the spot and one from open play). Moise Kean, Timo Werner and Robert Lewandowski all found the back of the net as well.

Our straight wins and over 2.5 picks also played out correctly and it was a decent day from our end. We’ll be looking to continue our good form of late with another good run today.

Manchester City vs Liverpool Prediction

The standout Premier League fixture of game-week eight sees Manchester City welcome champions Liverpool to the Etihad Stadium in a battle between the top two from the past two seasons.

Man City go into this showdown sitting 10th whereas Liverpool have reassumed their position at the top of the table, but only five points separate the two sides and Man City also boast a game in hand, so victory on Sunday would see them move within striking distance of their title rivals.

The unpredictable nature of the 2020-21 season so far means that this is not quite the top-two battle we have become accustomed to seeing between these two sides in recent years, but they remain the favorites for the Premier League title and, even at this stage of the campaign, Sunday’s match could prove to be important in the race.

Victory for Liverpool would take them eight points clear of the team they usurped as champions last season – a significant gap to make up on a team as consistent as the Reds even with a large portion of the campaign still to play.

By contrast, a home win would make it advantage Man City; they would move to within two points of Jurgen Klopp’s side with a game in hand – not bad considering they have suffered such an uncharacteristically inconsistent start to the season. It’s a game that should likely bring a win and we give you some tips that could play out as well.

Over 2.5 Goals

With both teams eager to win, we could see a good number of goals here. Liverpool have failed to keep a clean sheet in the league this season and they could concede once again. Manchester City have not been the best in defence too and Liverpool are also expected to score or get a couple of their own as well. We expect at least three goals.

Both Teams to Score

For the above reason in the goal market, we expect both teams to take it to each other and score at least one goal apiece.

Straight Wins

Tottenham travel to struggling West Brom and we expect the North London side to blow away their opponents. The Baggies have failed to win in their last five games and we see them falling to another defeat to Tottenham today. Bet9ja have 1.48 odds, Betway have 1.49 odds and 1xbet have 1.54 odds.

Elsewhere, the red side of North London in Arsenal welcomes Aston Villa to the Emirates. The Gunners come off the back of two successive wins including one against Manchester United and they’ll be fired up to win today once again. After a good start, Villa have now lost their last two league games and they could lose today again. Bet9ja have 1.68 odds, 1xbet have 1.70 odds and Betway have 1.71 odds.

Off to the Serie A, Juventus take on Lazio in the first game of the Serie A today and we expect the reigning champions to record a win. Cristiano Ronaldo is back and available to start and Juve will boast enough firepower in attack to propel them to a win. Bet9ja, Betway and 1xbet all have 1.88 odds.

Elsewhere, AC Milan welcome Verona to San Siro and we can see why they’ll be all fired up to win after suffering their first loss of the season in midweek to Lille. The Rossoneri remain unbeaten in the league and we expect them to record a win today once again. Bet9ja have 1.42 odds, Betway have 1.43 and 1xbet have 1.45.

Finally, we move to the Eredivisie where Ajax take on Utrecht and we’re tipping the reigning champions to blow out their opponents once again like they usually do. Ajax still have some of their top players out due to coronavirus but we still expect them to win all the same. Betway have 1.55 odds, Bet9ja have 1.56 and 1xbet have 1.59.

Over 2.5

Valencia welcome reigning La Liga champions Real Madrid to the Mestalla stadium and it’s a game we likely expect Real Madrid to win but we still have our doubts for some reasons. Regardless, we expect at least three goals in this game. Bet9ja have 1.48 odds, Betway have 1.53 and 1xbet have 1.60.

Over to the Bundesliga, Bayer Leverkusen take on Borussia Monchengladbach in a game we expect to deliver at least three goals as well. Both teams have no problems scoring and we’re expecting a good number of goals today. Bet9ja have 1.57 odds, Betway have 1.58 and 1xbet have 1.64.

Elsewhere, Atalanta take on Inter in what would be one of the interesting ties of the day. This is a game that could go either side especially as both sides are coming off the back of respective losses. We don’t know how this would play out in terms of a win situation but we expect a good number of goals in this one. Bet9ja have 1.36 odds while Betway and 1xbet have 1.40.

Off to the Eredivisie, PSV take on Willem II and this is looking like a game with a very good potential of goals. We’re tipping this match to see at least three goals. Bet9ja have 1.46 odds, Betway have 1.49 and 1xbet have 1.52 odds.

Anytime Goal scorer

Karim Benzema
The Frenchman is on good scoring form of late and he is a good shout to score today. He has scored three goals in his last two games and we can fancy him scoring in three successive games. Betway have 1.94 odds while Bet9ja have 1.95 odds.

Harry Kane

Kane has been one of the most in-form forwards in the Premier League this term and given the opposition, he is a very strong shout to get a goal or two today. Bet9ja have 1.75 odds while Betway have 1.88 odds.

Morata

Cristiano Ronaldo might be back but that won’t stop Morata from getting in the goals. If anything, it strengthens his chances despite what many might think. The Spanish forward has already bagged in goals since his return to the club and he’s a good candidate to score today. Betway have 2.56 odds while Bet9ja have 2.60 odds.

Ibrahimovic

The big Swede has proven that he can continue to deliver at the highest level. Without much explanation, he has been pretty prolific this season and we’re tipping him to add to his tally today. Betway have 1.69 while Bet9ja have 1.75 odds.
