There are no Champions League or Europa League games this week, but we’re still left with much action from all over. Some leagues have already been decided while some still have a lot to play for, including their respective top-four races. This week sees each day with at least one key game and we’ll try to make sure we don’t miss a single day of action. Straight to business, here are the betting tips and predictions to go with for today.
Straight Wins
It might only be against Levante but this game would count as a ‘final’ for Barcelona. Trailing leaders by a mere two points, this could be a chance for the Catalans to claim a win and go top of the table temporarily. At this stage of the season, all of the top three sides have no room for mistakes and a loss or even a draw could spell the beginning of the end regarding the title race. Given what is at stake today, we expect the Catalan to put out their best performance and claim a much-needed win. Bet9ja have 1.19 odds, Bet365 have 1.20 and 1xbet have 1.26.
Over to the Serie A, Napoli’s challenge for a top-four finish is unrelenting. They are unbeaten in six (W4, D2), and strong starts are the key to their success, with the ’Partenopei’ leading ’to-nil’ by the 15th minute in four consecutive outings. A win against Udinese could take them momentarily to 2nd position and they would hope results go their way as well. Given the recent performances of Gattuso’s men in recent weeks, we expect them to take all three points against an inconsistent Udinese side. Bet9ja have 1.30 odds, Bet365 have 1.33 and 1xbet have 1.35.
Over 2.5 Goals
Manchester Leicester Only a miracle would see Manchester United land the Premier League title now, yet they’ll still be keen to secure a win and extend the gap between themselves and Leicester City. They should be confident given they’ve gone undefeated in 14 PL matches. However, Leicester are equally pushing to secure a top-four spot and that makes the game rather difficult to predict. With Leicester scoring in 15 of their 17 away games so far this season, it’s safe to say both teams should get on the score-sheet at least and we could see up to three goals after 90 minutes. Bet9ja have 1.90 odds, Bet365 have 2.00 and 1xbet have 2.04.
Napoli have had no problems scoring goals of late, with the Partenopei scoring at least two goals alone in three out of their last five league fixtures, including a 4-1 and 5-2 win respectively. Taking on an Udinese side that have also not been at their best of late, this serves as one with good potential for goals. Bet9ja have 1.58 odds, Bet365 have 1.61 and 1xbet have 1.67.
Anytime Goal-scorers
Osimhen
The Nigerian forward has five goals from his last five games and is starting to show proper consistency. After struggling with injuries and coronavirus, the 22-year-old is starting to prove his worth and recently hit 10 Serie A goals after a first-half brace against Spezia last time out. Napoli need to win right now and they need goals, meaning Gattuso might keep the Nigerian upfront and that could translate to goals for him. Bet365 have 1.57 odds while Bet9ja have 1.63.
Messi
He has by far been the most consistent player in La Liga this season. A tally of 28 goals already, seven more than the next best in Karim Benzema, means he is definitely taking home the Pichichi award once again. Moreso, Messi knows how important a win today could prove to be. Trust the Argentine to do what he does best and continue his brilliant record against a side he has scored many goals against in recent years. Bet365 have 1.33 odds while Bet9ja have 1.55.
Cavani
The Uruguayan was supposed to come in as a backup but his presence so far meant the injury to Anthony Martial was barely noticed. 15 goals for Manchester United in his debut season at the club is rather impressive, given his age. It is no surprise the Red Devils opted to extend his contract by another one year. Having scored against Aston Villa last time out, he remains in top form and we’re backing him to do so again today.Bet365 have 2.75 odds for him to score while Bet9ja have 3.00.
Iheanacho
Leicester’s in-form Kelechi Iheanacho has been directly involved in five goals in his last five competitive starts. He has already surpassed his best record in the Premier League, having bagged 11 goals already. With Vardy struggling for goals of late, the Nigerian has been the heart of the Leicester attack, with crucial goals and assists as well. If Leicester will get on the score-sheet, we are expecting him to be the first choice. Similar to Cavani above, Bet365 have 2.75 odds for him to score while Bet9ja have 3.00.
