This Wednesday’s UEFA Nations League semifinal between the Netherlands and Croatia will be played in Rotterdam.

While Croatia deserves credit for competing effectively against France and Denmark in the group stage, just one of their victories was by a score of two goals or more, and Gvardiol’s absence at the back will be missed keenly.
In contrast, Croatia’s offense does not strike the same fear into the hearts of teams. We can envision Koeman’s charges coming up clutch in the final third to advance to the final. Despite the fact that the Netherlands must also adjust to Depay’s departure and were torn to shreds by France just three months ago.
