This season has been a very special one and it keeps on giving us mind-blowing results every game-week. Before the international break, Tottenham produced one of the most shocking results of the day when they beat Manchester United 6-1. Yesterday, they were on the other side of things after blowing a three-goal lead to draw 3-3 in the space of 10 minutes. West Ham became the first ever side to achieve that feat in Premier League history.
We already marked the game as a clear win in our head but you never know what can happen in the Premier League. Regardless, we were correct to say it would be high scoring game.
Asides the Tottenham game, all our other straight wins came through. Roma, Lyon and Ajax all recorded wins respectively. Over to the over 2.5, two out of three came through as well. Ajax and Roma both recorded 5-1 and 5-2 wins respectively but sadly Aston Villa and Leicester City did not follow the script.
We predicted Son to score as well and he did that in the space of a minute. Jamie Vardy didn’t play for Leicester City and Memphis Depay listened to the other side of our predictions. Rather than score a goal, he choose to give a hatricks of assists instead.
Not much action today but there’s a good game on our hands.
Leeds vs Wolves Prediction
The second of two Premier League fixtures to take place on Monday night will see the high-flying Leeds United lock horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Elland Road.
A tight encounter is expected between these two sides, with just a single point separating them in the standings. Yet, such is the close nature of the competition, they’re still six places apart. Although Wolves, who sit down in 15th, plan to amend that at the expense of their ninth-placed hosts.
Recent history is in the visitors’ favor as well, having won all their last three meetings in the Championship. Their previous encounter, in fact, ended in a 3-0 win at Elland Road in March 2018.
Nonetheless, this one has all the makings of a brilliant night of football in West Yorkshire. Both teams favor getting on the ball and dictating play, suggesting we could be in for an open contest. The question is who will come out on top?
Leeds to win
Marcelo Bielsa’s side has shown they are no walkover this season. They have lost only one game so far and that was a narrow loss to Liverpool where they put out a good fight. Wolves have already lost twice and have not shown consistency so far. Leeds have not lost eight of their last nine games at home and we are backing them to win again today. Bet9ja have odds of 2.42 for Wolves to win while BetKing have better odds of 2.50.
Over 2.5 goals
In 8 out of Leeds’ last 10 games, there has been more than over 2.5 goals and we expect a high scoring affair again. Goals look to be the order of the day in the Premier League and this is a good game for it as well. Value here exists with Bet9ja offering 1.93 and BetKing offering 1.95.
BTTS
In 18 of their last 19 home games, Leeds have conceded at least a goal and Wolves will likely be eager to grab some of their own after a shock loss to West Ham before the international break. We are tipping both sides to score here. The bookies are offering 1.70 for this event to come through.
Anytime goal scorer
Raul Jimenez is a good shout to get on the score sheet and improve his tally of two goals so far. 2.75 by Bet9ja is something worth a good punt. BetKing have it better at 2.90 odds. Perhaps better value could be Patrick Bamford of Leeds who bagged a goal against Liverpool and already has three league goals so far to his name. Bet9ja have odds of 3.25 for him to score and Betking have odds of 3.40 for the same outcome.
