It’s yet another weekend and time for some more betting action. It’s been an interesting week so far and the latest trend is talking point from the Champions League and Europa League draws. An awaiting set of games await us in a couple weeks and we’ll be here to do justice to them as always.

Back to the present, a number of games are on the cards today and we’ll be giving you the most likely tips to come through from today’s action.

Straight Wins

A 2-1 win over Lazio in midweek propelled Bayern Munich into a record-breaking 19th UEFA Champions League quarter final and gave them a fifth consecutive win across all competitions in which both teams scored. They’re back to Bundesliga duty here, where Bayern are heavy favourites to build on their current 72% win-rate this campaign. They take on an in-form Stuggart side who are unbeaten in their last five league games. However, we expect the league leaders to power on and take all three points. Borussia Dortmund are in grasping distance of the top four after a comfortable 2-0 victory over Hertha Berlin. They have put up a decent run of games of late, losing only once (against Bayern Munich) in their last five league games. They take on a struggling Koln side that have lost four out of their last five league games and are also in relegation conversations. We expect Dortmund to win this one. Feyenoord have faltered of late in the Eredivisie.  Their top-three challenge grows ever more unlikely following a run of one win from five games ahead of this (W1, D3, L1). However, the Rotterdam club are expected to bounce back, given that they’ve lost just one of 11 home league games as favourites. They take on an FC Emmem side bottom of the table and with only two wins all season. We can only see this game going one way and in favour of Feyernood. Manchester City are aiming to reach the FA Cup semi-final for a third consecutive season. They will have to edge past Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton to do just that. The Toffees have fairly impressed this term but they’ve struggled to be consistent for most of the season. Manchester City are flying high at the moment and we expect them to go one step closer in search of an unprecedented ‘quadruple’ with a win today. Sevilla will be aiming to make it three La Liga wins on the bounce when they take on Valladolid. Julen Lopetegui’s men are all but in a good position to secure a Champions League spot but why not aim for more. There is still a chance they can finish third or second and that should spur them on for wins. Over 2.5 Goals

Real Madrid are clear favorites to win when they take on Celta Vigo but it’s still uncertain whether or not they’ll see that through. Our reason for this pick is because we expect Celta Vigo to score a goal at least and that should mean Real Madrid will more than likely over-power their opponents by scoring more.  Bet9ja have 1.70 odds, Bet365 have 1.72 and 1xbet have 1.78.

We expect another high-scoring result when Wolfsburg travel to take on Werder Bremen. Both sides have seen high-scoring results of late and we predict that could follow suit. Both teams have seen over 2.5 goals play out in three out of their last five games. Wolfsburg come into this game off the back of a 5-0 thrashing of Schalke and they’ll be fired up even more to maintain that form upfront.  Bet9ja have 1.87 odds, Bet365 have 1.90 and 1xbet have 1.98.

Borussia Dortmund are just two points off a top four spot in Bundesliga and we can see them going guns blazing for their next clash. Furthermore, four out of their last five league games has seen over 2.5 goals and that may likely happen again today when they take on a Koln side with the second joint-worst defence in the Bundesliga. Manchester City are favorites to beat Everton but the Toffees could give them a run for their money. It is a game where Everton could likely score but City will go on to win regardless. Lewandowski

He is the literally the S.I unit for goals this season. The Polish forward is in the form of his life and carries on his impressive performances from last season. He is only one goal away from 40 goals and has done that in only 35 appearances. He has only failed us here about two times in total and picking him to score these days is as sure as day and night. Bet365 have 1.25 odds while Bet9ja have 1.40.

Jesus

Man City’s Gabriel Jesus has been involved in 13 goals in his 14 competition appearances, and his last two competition goals arrived after the interval. The Brazilian is on decent form at the moment and he would get more than enough service to improve on his current tally against Everton. Bet365 have 1.95 odds for him to score while Bet9ja have 2.00.

Benzema

Karim Benzema got the winning strike in the dying embers of Real’s last league victory. In turn, he has averaged 1.5 goals per match beyond the hour mark across the Galacticos’ last two La Liga outings. Benzema has scored four out of his side’s last six games across all competitions and is already being tagged as ‘Mr Real Madrid’. Bet365 have 1.80 odds while Bet9ja have 1.90.

En-Nesyri

The Moroccan forward has been on impressive form for Sevilla this season, bagging 21 goals across all competitions. The goals recently dried up for him but he has recently returned to scoring ways of late.
