However, there are concerns about this team’s caliber, and we worry that their shortcomings will be made clear.
Verdict
The Spain U21 team has won nine of its last 11 games across all competitions, with seven of those nine victories coming by a score of at least two goals. They rarely score less than three goals and are quite threatening. Now that Croatia U21 must defeat Spain U21, they will have to play from the opening, but that could be dangerous given how readily Spain U21 can respond. The most recent victory came in the last EURO U21 Quarter-Finals, however, it came after extra time. Spain U21 won six of their eight head-to-head matches.
