24/10/2020 – Daily Football Predictions

Away from the Champions League and Europa League from midweek, we’re back to league action allover and there’s a lot to pick from as always.

The start of this weekend’s action started yesterday as Elche stunned Valencia to claim a 2-1 win at home. However, the most interesting result came from the Premier League.

Aston Villa saw their 100% record come to an end at the hands of Marcelo Bielsa’s Leeds. Patrick Bamford also became the first player to bag a Premier League hatrick for the Whites in seventeen years. That result now leaves Everton as the only unbeaten side in the Premier League.

Anyways, let’s go to the order of the day and select the possible best picks from all of the abundance on matches on ground.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid Prediction

The 182nd Clasico in La Liga between bitter foes FC Barcelona and Real Madrid takes place on Saturday afternoon, with both teams out to bounce back from defeats last time out in La Liga.

Victory for either side in Catalonia could make a telling effect on the outcome of this season’s title race. Just three points separate them in the league standings. Although Barcelona, who are down in ninth compared to Real Madrid’s third, boast a game in hand. Therefore, the visitors really have it all to lose on this one.

Recent history, however, doesn’t favor them in this aspect. While Los Blancos won 2-0 in their previous encounter at the Santiago Bernabeu last March, they haven’t claimed victory at Camp Nou since 2016.

Either way, a tight and cagey affair is likely to be bestowed upon us in the Catalonian capital.

Barcelona to win or draw

The last time Real Madrid won at the Nou Camp dates back to four years ago. The ‘Clasico’ from then is quite different from now agreed but so is Real Madrid. As earlier said, both sides are not in their best of form at the moment but Barca will go into the game with much more confidence after thrashing Ferencvaros 5-1 in midweek. We’re tipping the Catalan giants not to lose at the very worst.Bet9ja have odds of 1.27 while BetKing offer 1.30 for the same event.

Over 2.5 goals

Barca has scored at least a goal in 46 out of their last 48 home games. More so, three out of the last five home games for Barca has seen over 2.5 goals. We’re expecting that to come through today as well. Bet9ja have odds of 1.50 while Betking have odds of 1.55.

Anytime goal scorer

With 26 to his name, Messi has the most El Clasico goals and it’ll take a huge task for anyone to match this feat. With the Argentine also being the penalty taker for Barcelona, he is the likely name to grab a goal and that shouldn’t come as a surprise.

Straight wins

Manchester City take on West Ham and we’re tipping the Citizens to claim a win. After back to back wins against Arsenal and Porto, the Manchester City are high on confidence at the moment and they are a good shout to claim a win. Bet9ja have odds of 1.44 while BetKing have odds of 1.52.

Still in the Premier League, Liverpool take on struggling Sheffield and it’s looking like one-way traffic for the Reds. Sheffield have only managed a point from five games this season and find themselves in 19th position. Given the venue is Anfield, Liverpool are likely to claim a win. Bet9ja have odds of 1.28 while Betking have odds of 1.32.

PSG take on Dijon at home and we expect them to go guns blazing. Les Parisiens are coming off the back of a shock loss to Man United in midweek and they’ll be eager to get back to winning ways. The bookies only have 1.25 odds for this event.

Inter take on Genoa away and they will also be eager to claim a win. The Nerazzurri could only manage a 2-2 draw against Monchengladbach in midweek and a win will be high on the list of Antonio Conte’s men.Bet9ja have 1.42 odds while Betking have 1.48.

Bayern take on Eintracht at home and the Bavarians will be blazing for another win once again. They are fresh from a 4-0 thrashing of Atletico Madrid and we’re tipping them for another win again. Bayern have 1.20 odds to win this game.

Ajax take on Venlo in an away clash and the Dutch champions will be eager to get back to winning ways. They suffered a narrow loss to Liverpool in the Champions League and a win will no doubt be high on their priority list. Bet9ja has 1.19 odds while Betking has 1.26 odds.

Over 2.5 goals

In another big clash of the day, Manchester United take on Chelsea at Old Trafford and we’re expecting a match up with a good amount of goals. On paper, the Red Devils are favorites to win at home but a fixture like this is always hard to predict. Bet9ja have 1.55 odds for this while Betking have 1.60 odds.

We already tipped Manchester City to claim a win at West Ham and we’re expecting this game to bring goals as well. Bet9ja have 1.38 odds and Betking have it better at 1.44 odds.

Atalanta take on Sampdoria in the Serie A and this is a game that should easily bring goals as well. Atalanta have no problem scoring goals and that should be the case again today as well. Bet9ja have 1.30 odds for this while Betking have 1.35 odds.

Borrussia Dortmund take on Schalke in the Bundesliga and this is a fixture that has always brought goals in a good amount. We are tipping that to happen today as well. Bookies are offering 1.45 odds for this event.

Genoa vs Inter is also a game expected to bring a good number of goals today and we’re backing it to happen with Inter getting the win as earlier said. Bet9ja have 1.47 odds for this while Betking have 1.50 odds.

Anytime Goal scorer

Lukaku

The Big Belgian is a good shout to get on the score sheet and we’re tipping him to do so again. He can’t seem to stop scoring at the moment and he’s a good value for this option.  Bet9ja have 1.75 odds while Betking have 1.85 odds.

Bruno Fernandes

The Portuguese has a thing for finding a way to influence games even without dropping his best performance. The main reason he’s on this list is because he’s United’s designated penalty taker and they do get a lot of them lately. If United get a penalty, it’s a likely goal for Fernandes. Bet9ja has 3.00 odds for him to score while Betking have 3.30. A very good punt.

Mbappe

Kylian Mbappe has been a good goal threat this season and the game against Dijon will be a good chance for the PSG attack to flex their muscles. The Frenchman will fancy his chances at getting a goal or two. Bet9ja have 1.50 odds while Betking have 1.70 odds.

Lewandowski

Lewandowski needs no explanation as a goal machine and it’s hard to imagine a game without predicting him to score. After ignoring him of late, we’re backing him to do so today. No surprise bookies are only offering 1.30 odds for this.

Mane

The Senegalese forward will be looking to build on his goal against Everton last week and there is a good chance he’ll get on the score sheet against a Sheffield side that have been woeful in defence this term. A decent 1.85 odds is offered by Bet9ja while Betking have 2.00 odds.
