Yesterday was a pretty decent day with some eye-catching results as well. In the pick of the games, Real Madrid stunned Barcelona at home to claim a 3-1 Clasico victory. That ruined our win or draw tip for the game but at it least it saw over 2.5 goals as we predicted.
For the straight wins, all our predictions came through with the exception of Manchester City who could only manage a 1-1 draw with West Ham. The highlight of the straight wins was Ajax who claimed a record astonishing 13-0 victory over Venlo in the Eredivisie. What could have been the odds if we went for an Ajax win and over 7.5 goals eh?
Over to the goal scorer column, three out of five picks came through. Lukaku grabbed himself a goal, Mbappe came off the bench to bag a brace and goal-machine Lewandowski bagged a hatrick.
Moving on to the order of the day, some good games are on the cards today and we’ll be giving you the best tips as usual.
Arsenal vs Leicester City Prediction
Seventh meets eighth as Leicester City visit Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium for a Premier League match on Sunday night.
Both sides head into the fixture looking to bounce back from narrow defeats last time out. The hosts, in particular, will need to find more creativity to break down Leicester, who have won all their games on the road this season.
The Foxes do, however, boast a dreadful record away to Arsenal with no victories in their previous 27 meetings. In fact, their last victory came in September 1973 – exactly 47 years ago!
Arsenal to win
Arsenal have not lost their last 11 matches at the Emirates and they also boast a good record against Leicester City. There could be good value herewith Bet9ja offering 2.05 odds while Betking has 2.08 odds.
Over 2.5 goals
In the last four games Arsenal have played at the Emirates, we’ve seen at least three goals at the end of the day.No matter how the game goes, this fixture is one that has always provided goals and we’re expecting more of that to follow suit today. Bet9ja has 1.70 odds while Betking has 1.75 odds.
Straight wins
High-flying Everton take on Southampton at St Mary’s stadium. The Toffees are the only unbeaten side in the Premier League so far and they seem to be playing with full confidence under Carlo Ancelotti. Southampton are in decent form as well having won two and drawn one from their last three games. Regardless, we’re tipping Everton to claim all three points today. There is value for this as Bet9ja offer 2.37 odds while Betking have 2.48 odds.
Wolves take on Newcastle in what would be another entertaining clash as well. Nuno’s men have recovered from two losses to record consecutive wins against Fulham and Leeds. It might not be an easy clash but we’re backing Wolves to claim a third consecutive win on the go. Bet9ja have 1.78 odds while Wolves have 1.83.
Over to the Serie A, Napoli take on Benevento in an away game. The Partenopei would be eager to claim a victory after a shock loss to AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League. We expect them to go all out for a win and we’re backing them to do so. Bet9ja has 1.36 odds while BetKing has 1.38 odds.
Fresh from a 2-0 victory over Dynamo Kyiv in the Champions League, Juventus take on Verona at home and on paper, this looks like a straight victory for the Bianconeri. Given the venue and no disrespect to the opposition, we expect Andrea Pirlo and company to claim a win. Bet9ja has 1.35 odds while BetKing has 1.38 odds.
Off to the Eredivisie, Feyernood take on Waalwijk in an away game and we’re tipping De club aan de Maas to claim a win. Feyernood are one of the unbeaten sides in the Dutch top flight so far and we’re tipping them to claim a win against a Waalwijk side that have claimed only four points from five games this season. Bet9ja have 1.35 odds and Betking have 1.40 for the same event.
Over 2.5
We already tipped Everton to claim the win over Southampton and it should likely be a game with a good number of goals to go with. We’re backing that to happen. Bet9ja have 1.68 odds while Betking have 1.78.
In Ligue 1, Lyon take on Monaco in another potentially good game for the day. On closer look, we can say Lyon are favorites to claim a win but it’s not so clear. Rather, we’ll tip the game to provide at least three goals. Bet9ja have 1.48 odds while Betking have 1.55 odds.
In similar fashion to Everton, we already tipped Napoli to claim a win and we’re expecting goals in the game as well. Bet9ja has 1.37 odds while Betking have 1.43 odds.
Finally, PSV take on Vitesse in the Eredivisie. Both sides are on very good form at the moment and a winner option is not exactly straight forward here. However, we’re tipping both sides to translate their form into goals today. Bet9ja has 1.58 odds while Betking has 1.63 odds.
Anytime Goal scorer
Morata
In the absence of Cristiano Ronaldo, the Spaniard has done quite well. Morata has three goals in his last two games including a brace in the Champions League. With no CR7 once again, he is a good shout to score for Juventus. Bet9ja have 2.10 odds while Betking have 2.35 odds.
Calvert-Lewin
He’s the joint top-scorer in the League alongside Son. He’s proven he can score against the very best after bagging a goal in the Merseyside derby last week. He’s at full confidence at the moment and we’re tipping him to grab a goal for Everton. Bet9ja have 2.25 odds while BetKing have 2.80 odds.
Aubameyang
By his own standards, he has been relatively poor this season with only one League goal so far. However, he came off the bench in midweek to secure a comeback win for Arsenal. More so, he has a thing for scoring against Leicester and he’ll fancy his chances at getting a goal today. Bet9ja have 1.85 odds while Betking has 1.92 odds.
Jimenez
The Mexican forward has three goals to his name this season and would no doubt be eager to improve his tally. Like other forwards on here, he also bagged a goal in the last game-week and he’ll want to build on that form. Bet9ja has 2.00 odds while BetKing has 2.33 odds.
