We can’t really say anything good about Sampdoria’s 2022–2023 Serie A performance. The Genoa squad blew all of its chances to stay alive, and with two games left until the season is over, they are at the bottom of the standings with just 18 points.
Sassuolo is on the other end of the spectrum. The group is doing great and has found redemption. In addition, despite Sampdoria’s prominence, it is reasonable to say that Sassuolo is the main power in this rivalry because of the four triumphs, three victories, and three draws that have occurred in the last 10 meetings between the two teams.
