It’s a good day to have a go at the bookies with lots of games available for the weekend. Thankfully, the unpredictable EFL Cup games from midweek are over (which explains why we chose not to make picks from there) and we can set our sights to league action proper. We only want to give you tips that have a good chance of coming through and we’ll stick with that mindset always.
At this stage, all of the leagues are already underway and in full swing. That leaves us with lots of options to pick from but we don’t want to get carried away.
Across the top five leagues in Europe, we have selected some of the very best picks you can go with for today that stand a good chance of winning.
Without much ado, let’s move on to the tips and business of the day.
Straight wins
First up we’re tipping for a straight win is Chelsea. The Blues take on newly promoted West Brom who have failed to hit their stride. Frank Lampard’s men are in full confidence following their 6-0 win over Barnsley from midweek and we expect it to carry on today.
Bet9ja has odds of 1.40 for Chelsea to take all three points.
Up next, we go to the Bundesliga for another straight win. Dortmund have started the season in good fashion like how they ended the last and we expect an away victory against Augsburg. Bet9ja has odds of 1.45 for Dortmund to win the game.
Moving on, we travel to the Eredivisie for the next pick. Reigning champions Ajax don’t seem to be letting down and it’ll be difficult once again for any side to stop them. For their home game against Vitesse, it no surprise Bet9ja only offered odds of 1.30 for Ajax to win. Not so much but it’s more than likely to come through.
Last for our straight win picks, we go to La Liga where reigning champions Real Madrid travel to Benito Villamarin stadium to take on Real Betis. Los Blancos might have drawn their first game but we can blame it on first game syndrome which is common among many sides. Also given how tough this year has been. Regardless, there is a good value for Real Madrid to win this game at 1.78 odds offered by Bet9ja.
If you’re feeling good enough to combine all four picks for straight wins, they all come down to a decent 4.70 odds.
Goals (Over 2.5)
Brighton take on Manchester United and we expect it to be a goalscoring affair. The Red Devils are looking to bounce back from their opening day defeat to Crystal Palace and we can see them starting strong from the onset. Not to forget that Brighton can also cause troubles of their own. There’s a good value of 1.77 offered by Bet9ja for this to come true.
Inter take on Fiorentina in the Serie A and we can imagine the Nerazzurri scoring goals at home as well. Another good value can be taken advantage of for this outcome as Bet9ja offer 1.60 for Inter and Fiorentina to make this happen.
Going back to the Premier League, we already tipped Chelsea to win and we expect them to do it by a good margin too. Bet9ja offer 1.58 odds for the Blues and West Brom to play over 2.5 goals.
Anytime Goalscorer (Haaland)
It’s never easy to be sure who has his scoring boots for the weekend but if it’s anyone from today’s games, it’s likely Haaland. The 20-year-old has already taken scoring to a habit and looks to be in good form once again this season. He already bagged a brace in Dortmund’s 3-0 opening game of the season and we’re tipping him to score once again. A good value odd of 1.60 is offered by Bet9ja for the Norwegian to hit the back of the net.
