Yesterday was another eventful day in the Champions League. There was no real shock in general and most of the results came as expected bar one. Many might have claimed Manchester United could topple Leipzig but no one could have predicted a 5-0 thrashing of the German side.
We tipped Juventus and Barcelona to both score and the game to bring over 2.5 goals. Barca ran out 2-0 winners and both of our tips would have come through but for Morata who saw three goals ruled offside.
All our straight win picks came through with Chelsea, PSG and Sevilla all recording victories. For the goal market, Manchester United and Chelsea delivered but PSG and Dortmund needed one more goal each and could only do with 2-0 victories.
Over to the goal scorer market, Timo Werner and Haaland scored just as we predicted. Morata could have easily bagged a hatrick but for his disallowed goals in strange fashion. Mbappe drew a blank for PSG and Moise Kean bagged a brace.
