Daily Football Predictions-12-02-23

There was a lot of action throughout the course of the weekend games in Europe, and many teams here still have a lot to accomplish, especially today.
There are many events to keep an eye on, and we have chosen the greatest ones with the best forecasts for each match.

With the UCL, UEL and Conference League games coming right up after this we have a lot in store for you in the coming days

Straight Wins.

Despite only earning a point at home to Leeds in midweek, we’re backing Man Utd to secure all 3pts at Elland Road. The visitors will know what to expect from their hosts and their new way of playing under their temporary manager. The Red Devils have won five of their last seven competitive and non-competitive matches against Leeds, including a 4-2 win at Elland Road last season. Leeds have lost two of their last four league games, while Man Utd have won four of their last five outings in all competitions. Bet9ja have 1.94 odds, Paripesa have 1.90 odds and 1xBet have 1.90 odds.

Strasbourg have lost three of their last four assignment on the road ahead of their clash with a formidable Lille side in Ligue 1 on Sunday. Lille enjoyed a rousing 3-1 comeback victory at Rennes in their last league assignment last weekend and promptly moved back up to sixth position in the Ligue 1 table. That win would have galvanised the confidence in their ranks and follow-up victory over relegation candidates Strasbourg should prove a slightly easier task to complete. The visitors have lost three of their last four matches on the road, the most recent of which was at Rennes (3-1). Lille proved they are a step up from them last week and our first prediction tips them to get the job done again against Strasbourg. Bet9ja have 1.48 odds, Paripesa have 1.52 odds and 1xBet have 1.52 odds.

Fiorentina have lost three of their last four matches in Serie A ahead of a tough-looking tussle with Juventus on Sunday. Juventus produced their most-rounded display in quite some time on Tuesday evening when they put three goals without reply past Salernitana and back on home soil on Sunday, they look primed to pounce for more points against Fiorentina. La Viola are in a slump following a return of just one point from their last four assignments in Serie A, and they could come up short again in Turin against a Juventus outfit determined to right their off-field wrongs. With those factors digested, our first prediction points towards a home win. Bet9ja have 1.88 odds, Paripesa have 1.90 odds and 1xBet have 1.90 odds.

Eintracht Frankfurt has been in good form lately and they are without a loss in the last seven matches in the league. Meanwhile, Cologne is also on a streak without a loss in the last four Bundesliga matches, although three of them were draws. Overall, Frankfurt is clearly in better form and we believe that they are the better team of the two. So, our first prediction for this match is for Eintracht Frankfurt to win the game. Bet9ja have 2.60 odds, Paripesa have 2.62 odds and 1xBet have 2.62 odds.

With two wins, one draw, and three losses in the last six games in Bundesliga, Monchengladbach is not in top for at the moment. While neither of the two teams is doing that great right now, Hertha is certainly the team in worse form at the moment given the fact that they lost four games in a row. On top of that, Hertha is currently in the relegation zone and falling behind other teams. So, this is a key match for them, but Monchengladbach is simply the better team, so we can see them winning this game. Bet9ja have 2.47 odds, Paripesa have 2.40 odds and 1xBet have 2.40 odds.

Over 2.5

Bologna have won three of their last four fixtures in Serie A ahead of their encounter with Monza on Sunday. Monza have been playing with the shackles off over the past month and as a result, four of their last six fixtures in league and cup have featured over 2.5 goals. Three of Bologna’s last five matches in Serie A have also seen three or more goals, and more excitement could be in the works when they welcome an attack-minded Monza to the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara on Sunday. With those factors in mind, bettors are advised to consider another stake on over 2.5 goals. Bet9ja have 2.07 odds, Paripesa have 2.20 odds and 1xBet have 2.20 odds.

Angers go head-to-head with Auxerre at the Stade Raymond-Kopa in France’s Ligue 1 on Sunday, February 12th. Two of the division’s bottom three clubs face off in a relegation six-pointer. When Ligue 1’s two worst clubs collide on Sunday, tensions should be high with both combatants presented with a chance to resurrect their survival bid at the other’s expense. We expect the tackles to fly at the Stade Raymond-Kopa, just as they did when the teams faced off back in August. A whopping eight cards were brandished to the players involved that afternoon, so backing over 2.5 of them to be awarded in Sunday’s rematch feels like a safe bet. Bet9ja have 2.05 odds, Paripesa have 2.07 odds and 1xBet have 2.07 odds.

Guardiola’s men head into this match as the big favourite to win despite a disappointing result last time out against Tottenham. Aston Villa will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing result of their own after they were thrashed 4-2 in their own backyard by Leicester City. We’re predicting goals in this game as six of the last seven meetings between these two clubs have seen both teams score and five of those matches produced over 2.5 goals. Three of Man City’s last five fixtures have witnessed at least three goals scored making this a fairly easy pick. Bet9ja have 1.50 odds, Paripesa have 1.49 odds and 1xBet have 1.49 odds.

Premier League predictions for the second meeting between Leeds and Man Utd in the space of 4-days. These two sides played out an exciting 2-2 draw in midweek but after taking a 2-0 lead, Leeds might well be disappointed that they failed to see out the victory. We’re predicting another entertaining 90-minutes between these two clubs following their 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in midweek. Four of the last five league meetings between Leeds and Man Utd have ended with both teams scoring and over 2.5 goals being produced, while four of Leeds’ and four of Man Utd’s last six outings in all competitions have ended in the very same way. Bet9ja have 1.63 odds, Paripesa have 1.70 odds and 1xBet have 1.70 odds.

Following a rather tumultuous period, Ajax has bounced back to form in the Eredivisie under Johnny Heitinga. The Amsterdammers are playing at a much higher standard since Alfred Schreuder’s sacking, a statement backed up by their incredible nine-goal haul across the previous two rounds. RKC Waalwijk provides the opposition, but if recent H2Hs are anything to go by, they’re in for a rough ride. The hosts averaged four scored goals per game across the last three H2Hs and with a gap to cut on the league leaders, they’ll be wanting to be quick out of the traps yet again here. A considerable 11 of Ajax’s 20 league games saw at least four goals whilst their rampant form suggests they can rack up a few more here. Bet9ja have 1.29 odds, Paripesa have 1.28 odds and 1xBet have 1.28 odds.

Anytime Goal scorers

Lewandoski

The biggest difference this season compared to previous ones when it comes to Barcelona can be summed up in one word – Lewandowski. We say this with utmost respect for the rest of the team. The Polish striker already sits at the top of the list of La Liga goal scorers with fourteen goals in seventeen appearances and if Barca manages to win in Villarreal, we have little doubt that Lewandowski will be on the scoresheet. Bet9ja have 2.20 odds while Paripesa have 1.80 odds.

Victor Osimhen

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is one of the most highly-regarded players in his position in world football right now and the dynamic frontman scored his 15th and 16th Serie A goals of the season against Spezia last weekend. The Napoli star has notched his tally in just 17 starts in the division and Osimhen has the skills package to terrorize the Cremonese defense this weekend. As such, he is an excellent candidate in the anytime goalscorer stakes again. Bet9ja have 1.80 odds while Paripesa have 1.90 odds.

Dusan Vlahovic

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic made his first Serie A start since October in midweek and the 23-year-old reminded Juventus of what they’ve missed, by netting two of the Old Lady’s three goals at Salernitana. Vlahovic comes up against his former club Fiorentina on Sunday, though he won’t stand on ceremony if and when chances fall his way. Vlahovic has eight goals in ten starts in the division overall and he can register again this weekend. Bet9ja have 2.75 odds while Paripesa have 2.35 odds.

Folarin-Balogun

Arsenal-loanee Folarin Balogun jumps off the page as an option worth backing. The lethal finisher has scored five times in Reims’s last three home games and the American attacker is enjoying a breakout campaign in 2022/23. Balogun has scored 14 times in Ligue 1 overall and he can add to his tally with another strike on Sunday against Troyes. Bet9ja have 2.25 odds while Paripesa have 2.50 odds.

Haaland

In terms of this selection on Sunday, there can only be one logical choice. Erling Haaland has scored 25-goals in the Premier League alone this season and he is currently running away with the Golden Boot award. Nobody has scored first in more games for Man City this season than Haaland with the Norway striker hitting the back of the net first on six occasions so far, adding plenty of weight to our prediction. Bet9ja have 1.65 odds while Paripesa have 1.60 odds.
