Daily Football Predictions-14-05-2022

It’s been an exciting season so far and there’s still more to go as the season draws to an end.

While the La Liga, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 have been wrapped up in terms of winners, there is all to play for in the Serie A and the Premier League. It is expected to go down to the wire.

The top-four race in both leagues also serves as an exiting spectacle to follow. Games will come in thick and fast between now and the next two weeks and we’re ready for all of that.

With that in mind, we bring you the likely betting tips and predictions to go with from all of the day’s action.

Straight Wins

Bayern Munich will be confident of ending their campaign on a high. Wolfsburg may also be confident over the previous two consecutive home victories of the campaign. However, the Bavarians ruled the H2Hs incredibly and secured the lead in all of the recent visits against the Wolves. The Reds also lost only one Bundesliga attempt in the last two months. For these reasons, we see Bayern Munich ending their season with an away victory. Bet9ja have 1.55 odds, Paripesa have 1.57 odds and 1xBet have 1.57 odds.

Borussia Dortmund play the concluding game of the 2021/22 season at the Signa Iduna Park against Hertha Berlin. It is all or nothing for the Old Lady, who will be aiming to confirm their Bundesliga spot next season with at least one point. After consecutive three defeats, Dortmund returned to winning ways in the last game. However, the BVB has done a lot better than Hertha, who is yet to win from the previous two attempts. The Old Lady were good enough to beat Dortmund in the last meeting at home but an away challenge would not be an easy task where they lost three of the recent four H2Hs. Hence, we expect the Black and Yellows to take three points at the end. Bet9ja have 1.52 odds, Paripesa have 1.56 odds and 1xBet have 1.56 odds.

Metz proved they can still survive the drop the last time out when they defeated Lyon 3-2. The hosts went ahead 2-0 before Lyon pulled a goal back but still, Metz won both halves of that game. And when Lyon equalized 2-2 in the 84th minute, Metz remained relentless and scored a dramatic 90th-minute winner. On the other hand, Angers defeated Bordeaux 3-1 ahead of this game and while the visitors never lost to Metz in the last five Ligue 1 duels, this game means everything to Metz. Playing at home makes it even more significant because a win could see them occupy the relegation playoffs spots hence bolstering their survival chances in the top flight. We are backing home victory. Bet9ja have 1.96 odds, Paripesa have 2.03 odds and 1xBet have 2.03 odds.

Montpellier will be wanting a better result here following a 2-1 Ligue 1 defeat in their last game at the hands of Clermont Foot. The home side haven’t won against Paris Saint-Germain in their last five league games and this should provide a fairly easy task for PSG as they seek to end the season on a high. They are undefeated in their previous three league matches away from home. Bet9ja have 1.38 odds, Paripesa have 1.42 odds and 1xBet have 1.42 odds.

Over 2.5 Goals

Verona are hoping to secure 9th-place in the Serie A table by avoiding defeat against Torino this weekend. The visitors sit one place and 5pts behind Verona with just two games remaining, so a win is the order of the day for Torino if they want a chance of leapfrogging Verona on the final day of the season. The recent form and performances from both teams suggest that there is a great chance that we will be treated to at least three goals on Saturday. Over 2.5 goals have been scored in three of Verona’s and three of Torino’s last four outings in Serie A, and we’re expecting another goal-fest this weekend. Bet9ja have 1.76 odds, Paripesa have 1.85 odds and 1xBet have 1.85 odds.

Udinese don’t have much left to play for this season but could still finish as high as 10th if they secure positive results from their final two games of the season. Spezia could still get relegated from Serie A but as little as a draw on Saturday would be enough to keep them in Italy’s top division for another season. There is a good chance that we will be treated to plenty of goalmouth action on Saturday if both teams’ recent results are anything to go by. Four of Udinese’s last six league games have produced over 2.5 goals, including 4-0 and 4-1 wins against Fiorentina and Empoli, while each of Spezia’s last four matches has also witnessed at least three goals scored. Bet9ja have 1.68 odds, Paripesa have 1.80 odds and 1xBet have 1.80 odds.

The BVB didn’t seem to have trouble breaching the defense in the recent games and the same is true in all of the latest H2Hs against Hertha Berlin. The last two out of three meetings between both sides produced over 2.5 with the most recent game having a total scoreline of five goals. When these sides clash, goals tend to come with the match ticket, and bettors are advised to stick to the over 2.5 totals market on Saturday. Bet9ja have 1.31 odds, Peripesa have 1.30 odds and 1xBet have 1.30 odds.

Following a three-match unbeaten streak, Wolfsburg go up against Bayern Munich in the final duel of the Bundesliga season. Wolfsburg were restricted to score only once in each of the last two games, playing away from home, but the team have scored nine times in the previous two home attempts. Bayern Munich have also collected a total of ten goals in the last five outings. Moreover, all of the last four H2Hs of the teams ended with high-scoring totals. Following the current stats, we expect the same kind of outcome in this game as well. Bet9ja have 1.23 odds, Paripesa have 1.19 odds and 1xBet have 1.19 odds.

Anytime Goalscorers

Haaland

This would be his final game for Dortmund and he would relish telling them a proper goodbye with a blistering performance for the yellow and black army. He is the fastest player to 50 goals in the Bundesliga and he would be looking to build on his impressive H2H record against this side. He has scored four goals in their previous meetings. Bet9ja have 1.40 odds while Paripesa have 1.36 odds.

Neymar

The Brazilian has found form right at the end of the season, bagging double-figure goals in the league just recently. His season has been marred with injuries but he has seen himself come back and deliver spectacular performances to see his side lift yet another Ligue 1 trophy. He scored the goal that saw PSG share the spoils against Troyes last time out and we see him scoring, here again, he grabbed an assist in the reverse and he could score here today. Bet9ja have 2.10 odds while Paripesa have 2.10 odds.

Patrik Schick

Patrik Schick has scored four goals in Leverkusen’s recent three-match winning streak, also netting his side’s opener in eight of his last 12 goalscoring outings. We’re backing the 26-year-old to find the back of the net once again in his final game of the season. He is on course to being the player with the second-most goals in the Bundesliga this season Bet9ja have 2.30 odds while Paripesa have 2.00 odds.

Gnabry

Serge Gnabry scored before the break-in three of Bayern’s last four matches. The German attacker recorded double-figure goals this season improving on his previous performances from last season. He would be looking to end the season on a high by bagging another goal here making it consecutive goals for Bayern Munich. Bet9ja have 2.25 odds while Paripesa have 2.10 odds.
