Juventus’s last eight consecutive matches have produced fewer than three goals. Fiorentina is safe from relegation, has not much motivation to play, and has not won any of its last four outings, including a thorough 4-0 defeat in Roma. Eight of their last ten head-to-head meetings have ended with less than three goals scored, and that’s what we are expecting in this match.

Napoli conceded the title to a fierce Inter Milan but still have to fight to console their fans with at least the second place. While they’ve managed three wins and two draws in their last six fixtures on the road, they arrive in Pisa to face a side that has confirmed their relegation back to Serie B. Pisa has lost seven consecutive games to compound their misery and has little chance against Napoli. Back Napoli to win and the match ends with over 2.5 goals.

Roma, with 67 points, sit fifth in the Europa League slot but are only below AC Milan in fourth with an inferior head-to-head record. Roma have won four and drawn one of their last five fixtures. At home, they’ve won three and drawn one of their last four and have beaten Lazio in three and drawn one of their last four head-to-head meetings, back them to get results and secure a European berth.

Newly-crowned champions Inter Milan have beaten Verona in nine and drawn the other of their last ten matches. The champions have not stepped off the gas pedal as they thrashed AS Roma 3-0 away in Rome last weekend. They return home for the final celebrations in front of their fans and should be fireworks against Verona, which is winless in eight games, losing six and drawing two. Seven of Atalanta’s last ten games at home have produced more than three goals. The last five games involving Bologna away have produced 21 goals, including their 3-2 win at Napoli last weekend. Expect goals to flow when these two teams, which are only fighting to end decently, meet. Expect more than two goals.

Cagliari can confirm safety if they avoid defeat against Torino or if Lecce and Cremonese drop points this weekend. Seven of their last ten head-to-head fixtures have produced goals at both ends. Cagliari is likely to grab something from the game, but Torino has scored at least a goal in eight of their last ten games. Back both teams to find the net here.

Sassuolo has booked their place in the Serie A next season as they sit 11th with 49 points. But Lecce are in for their lives as they perch only a point above safety with 32 points. Lecce were on a four-match losing streak but picked up four points from already-relegated Pisa and Verona to improve their chances. Sassuolo have won five of their last six at home, scoring at least two goals in them. Lecce is expected to go out and fight, but Sassuolo should be able to avoid defeat in a match that should see goals. Back over 1.5 team goals for Sassuolo or over 2.5 goals

Udinese has won four and drawn two of their last seven matches in the Serie A. At their home, goals are rare to come for both sides as seven of the last eight have seen only one team scoring or a 0-0 draw. Cremonese are flirting with relegation and have scored only three of their last ten away matches. Back Udinese to pick at least a result, but Cremonese to fail to score.
