They have won their past three league games and defeated Nottingham Forest 3-1 at home on Sunday. This season, away form has presented some challenges at times. They have won six games, but in their last nine away league games, they have only won two.

With both teams scoring in each of the previous eight encounters between these two teams, it seems wise to back both the visitors to win and both teams to score.
Tottenham is the current form team in this matchup, having won four of the previous six games, two of which were draws, and two of which were losses. While Newcastle did win their most recent game against Fulham, it was probably a fortunate victory considering it was only their third in nine games overall and in normal time.
Both of these clubs are on unbeaten runs at present. They also have a lot to play for in the final games of the season with European qualification their target. It’s been a difficult season for Newcastle, with injuries and poor away form holding them back. Three of their last five home league games have been drawn and that’s not been helping them either. Tottenham are unbeaten in their last three league games but need to improve on the road.
