Barcelona had an incredible first leg in Paris, leading 1-0 and trailing 2-1. They won this draw thanks to two goals in the second half in less than 15 minutes. For two years in a row, Barca failed to make it to the knockout stages and did not go on to dominate the Europa League. Thanks to their victory in Group H, they advanced to the round of 16 this time. They won all three of their group-stage home matches with nine goals scored and two given up. They drew away against Napoli in the round of 16 and defeated the Italian team 3-1 in the home leg.
What would they give for a strong start, like the two goals they scored in the first 17 minutes of that game? Since that was only their second away Champions League victory of the season, they will be ecstatic to have won in Paris. Barcelona is presently eight points behind Real Madrid at the top of La Liga.
PSG is still working to win the Champions League. But they have a difficult challenge ahead of them, and they are concerned about their away performance in Europe. The Parisians finished second in their group but failed to win any of their road encounters. There were losses at Newcastle United and in Milan. Since they didn’t play over the weekend, unlike their opponents, they have had time to recover from that intense game. Before losing to Barcelona, they were held to a home tie by Ligue 1’s worst team. They have now gone two games without a victory.

Verdict
After six games, they finished in the group of death this season with two wins, two ties, and two losses. They had only won two of their previous six competition games going into the rematch with Barcelona. Therefore, it is a large ask for them to travel to Catalonia and win, and Barcelona seems like a good chance to do the job.
That being said, betting on Barcelona to win and both teams to score is the best course of action. Goals were scored in the first leg, and the same should hold true in the second. Barca lost both of their legs of their semifinal match against Napoli before dominating PSG twice on Wednesday.
Barcelona is in good form at present and can make it into the last four of the Champions League. The first leg was highly dramatic with the La Liga side taking the lead but then going 2-1 down. PSG will have to come out and attack if they want to get back into this tie. That is likely to play into the hands of Barca who will also be out to give the PSG goalkeeper another night to forget.
