Mario Pasalic, who played in the league for the team for the 200th time last week, is also a candidate. He is now tied with Ivan Perisic for the most goals scored by a Croatian in Serie A history and just one goal away from reaching 50 in the top division of Italy.
La Dea will be without veteran defender Rafael Toloi (muscular) and long-term absentees Gianluca Scamacca and Giorgio Scalvini (both ACL).
High-profile addition Raphael Varane is still out for Como, and fellow center defender Alberto Dossena is seriously doubtful because of a calf problem.
It is unclear if “Il Gallo” will be called up after Cesc Fabregas benched struggling striker Andrea Belotti last week. After unsuccessful stints with Roma and Fiorentina, ‘Il Gallo’ has failed to score for his current team.
