Manchester City can beat Luton Town to reach the FA Cup quarterfinals. They are in great form at present and even if resting some players should have too much for their opponents. Luton Town would probably prefer three league points at the weekend to a cup win as they battle relegation.
There could be a repeat of that result on Tuesday, with Luton continuing to prove hard to beat and City struggling to put teams to the sword.
The three goals scored by Luton against Arsenal earlier this week serve as a message to Manchester City about what Pep Guardiola and his team will face on Sunday.
While the Hatters have struggled to produce consistent results, they have scored in all but one of their previous seven league games, including matchups against Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
With recent performances against Aston Villa, RB Leipzig, and Tottenham Hotspur, City has already demonstrated a weakness against counter-attacking opponents this season, which should give Luton some encouragement.
