The main squad news for Real Madrid is that their top scorer, Kylian Mbappe, will not be playing because of a thigh injury he sustained against Alaves in the previous game.
Brahim Diaz, Alaba, and Ceballos are all out, but Camavinga is expected to return to the squad following his recovery from an early-season knee injury. Carvajal will also make a comeback after shaking off the injury that kept him out of the team’s 3-2 victory over Alaves the previous game.
Due to Mbappe’s injury, Ancelotti is likely to go back to his 4-3-1-2 formation from the last campaign, which put Jude Bellingham in behind Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo. The veteran midfielder Mocric is likely to start also
