Betting Predictions
If Brighton & Hove Albion win all of their points in their match against Southampton, the Premier League’s bottom team, at the Amex Stadium on Friday night, they will move up to second place in the standings.
The Saints are trying to avoid losing three straight league games, while the Seagulls are trying to win three consecutive games.
Head-to-Head
Southampton, at the bottom of the Premier League standings, will be hosted by the Seagulls, which are now in fifth place. They just defeated struggling Manchester City at home after defeating Bournemouth 2-1 on the road last week.
Southampton lost 3-2 at home after putting up a strong showing against Liverpool. With only four points from 12 games, the Saints are still at the basement of the Premier League. That is eighteen fewer than what their rivals have managed so far this season. Southampton is five points from safety and four points from the bottom.
Team News
While Lewis Dunk (calf), Jack Hinshelwood (knee), Ferdi Kadioglu (toe), Tariq Lamptey (calf), Adam Webster (thigh), and Yankuba Minteh (muscle) are all questionable and will be evaluated before to kickoff, Brighton will be without injured players James Milner (thigh) and Solly March (knee).
Matt O’Riley may be given his first Premier League start in the middle of the pitch with Yasin Ayari or Mats Wieffer due to the absence of suspended midfielder Baleba and doubts about Hinshelwood’s fitness.
Joao Pedro could continue on the right after Georginio Rutter was pushed out wide to give him a central role against Bournemouth, but Simon Adingra will be looking to push his way into the starting lineup.
Goalkeepers Aaron Ramsdale (finger) and Gavin Bazunu (Achilles) are still sidelined for Southampton, and Jan Bednarek (knee), Ross Stewart, and William Smallbone (both hamstring) are all receiving treatment.
After suffering hamstring and knee injuries in the loss to Liverpool, former Brighton players Adam Lallana and Paul Onuachu have become serious concerns.
Due to Lallana’s anticipated absence, Joe Aribo and Matheus Fernandes, who scored against Liverpool, may start in center-midfield. Tyler Dibling and either Cameron Archer or Ben Brereton Diaz may join Adam Armstrong, who also made the net ripple last weekend, in attack.

Verdict
Tip Brighton to Win❌
Reason
JoĂŁo Pedro’s comeback has given Brighton new life and increased the danger of their onslaught. Defenses can no longer concentrate only on Welbeck since he now has a teammate up front. Southampton, on the other hand, has only scored nine goals thus far, underscoring their offensive difficulties. At this stadium, Brighton defeated Southampton 3-1 two seasons ago. This time, it’s not likely to be much different, and we anticipate that the home team will win easily again.

Tip: Over 2.5 Goals❌
Reason
Six times in the last 10 meetings between these two clubs, there were more than 2.5 goals scored. Southampton averaged 1.4 goals in these, while Brighton averaged 1.5 goals. During this series of games, the wager that both teams would score won eight times. With an average of two goals per game, Brighton scored over 2.5 goals nine times in their last ten games across all competitions. In five of Southampton’s last ten games across all competitions, there were more than 2.5 goals.
