EURO 2024 WRITER PREDICTIONS
The excitement of the Euros is heating up, and with the tournament commencing this Friday (June 14), our Topbets writers have shared their outright predictions on the winners of this year’s prestigious event. We have seven writers at Topbets (Vincent, Zax, Kanyi, Kolade, Benson, Vinolin and Martin), and all have experience in sports betting and soccer content.
Below is a brief snippet of each writer’s predicted winner and their reasoning:

‘’Germany are among the favorites to lift this year’s Euro 2024 trophy and I’m banking on them to be the winners of the European Championship. The three-time winners of the tournament have the chance to do it at home having been knocked out in the round of 16 with a 2-0 defeat to eventual runners-up England three years ago.
All eyes will be on Niclas Fullkrug, who made his Germany debut in late 2022 after a fine goalscoring run with Werder Bremen. In 15 games for Germany, Fullkrug has 11 goals, failing to score in only four matches. I’m tipping him to be among the top scorers alongside Arsenal ace Kai Havertz, who has seen his football career revived by Mikel Arteta.
Julian Nagelsmann’s men head into the tournament with two of Europe’s most exciting youngsters at their disposal in Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala. The hosts also have experienced individuals who have been there and done it for both club and country.’’

‘’France have reached the final in three of the last four major tournaments, including lifting the World Cup in 2018, and in Didier Deschamps have a manager that has seen it all both as a player and in the dugout for his country.
The squad is a blend of youth and experience with Olivier Giroud, who is expected to hang his international boots after the tournament to lead the goal hunt. This is one squad that has depth in almost every department and its hard to see why they shouldn’t go all the way and clinch the title.
In Kylian Mbappe, they have one of the most feared attacker in the world currently. And if the Real Madrid bound striker fails to spark, France boast three of their top four all-time goalscorers in their current squad, including the leader in that list, Giroud, and Antoine Griezmann, who is the second-highest active goalscorer in European Championship history too.’’
Kanyi Muturi (Topbets KE Writer) – England to win the Euros @ 4.50/1
‘’In my view, I’d say England will win. England’s victory in Euro 2024 is not a matter of talent, but rather a question of mindset. Over the past thirty years, this has often been the case. Martin Alex (Topbets GH Writer) – Spain to win the Euros @ 8/1
