19/05/2021 – Daily Football Predictions

It was an interesting turn of results yesterday as we saw a few upsets. The most unexpected result saw 15th place Brighton come from two goals down to beat Manchester City 3-2. Manchester United also dropped points at home to relegated Fulham. At this stage of the season, anything is possible and we’ll be bringing you the best tips and predictions to go with, taking all of the aforementioned into account.

Straight Wins

Arsenal must extend a three-match winning run in the league if they’re to qualify for Europe. They take on a spirited Crystal Palace side who have nothing to play for but can reach a tally of 50 points for the first time in the Premier League. The Gunners are without a win in five out of their last five games against Crystal Palace. However, their current form and need for European football should see them motivated and we’re backing them to get a win, with all of that in mind. Bet9ja have 1.50 odds, Bet365 have 1.53 and 1xbet have 1.58.

West Ham are still in the running to make Europe (Europa League) and that should see them at their best against a West Brom side that have suffered relegation already.  The Hammers are winless in their last two games but we expect them to bounce back in style against and take all three points against the baggies. Bet9ja and Bet365 have 1.60 odds while 1xbet have 1.66.

Following their comeback victory last time out, Liverpool’s late top-four charge remains very much alive, as they protect an eight-game unbeaten run in the PL (W6, D2). They take on a Burnley side that have nothing but pride to play for and that should leave the Reds well in the ascendency to win. After Leicester lost to Chelsea, Liverpool know that a win could suddenly put them in Champions League discussions once again. Bet9ja have 1.20 odds, Bet365 have 1.22 and 1xbet have 1.28.

Over 2.5 Goals

An exciting game is on the cards when Tottenham welcome Aston Villa to their own turf. Both sides also remain in the hunt for European football and you can imagine that both sides will naturally attack and most likely get on the score-sheet. To go with, four out of the last five games for both sides has seen over 2.5 goals and we’re expecting that to carry suit today again. Bet9ja have 1.44 odds, 1xbet have 1.50 and Bet365 have 1.53.

Everton and Wolves have both struggled respectively of late but we can expect them to give us a good number of goals. The main reason for this pick is the fact that both sides are likely expected to get on the score-sheet and that should leave us with about three goals from both ends after 90 minutes. Bet9ja and Bet365 have 2.00 odds while 1xbet have 2.12.

Arsenal have averaged 2.17 goals per game across an unbeaten run stretching six league away games (W4, D2), and have impressively won three consecutive league trips ‘to nil’ for the first time since May 2013. They might be favorites to win against Crystal Palace but it’s a game where we expect the Eagles to most likely get on the score-sheet as well. With that in mind, we’re expecting a good number of goals at Turf Moor. Bet9ja have 1.68 odds, Bet365 have 1.72 and 1xbet have 1.78.

Anytime Goal-scorers

Salah

Mohamed Salah is chasing the Golden Boot and will view this game against Burnley are a fantastic chance to improve on his tally of 22-goals. The Egyptian striker has been in very good form of late, netting 8-goals in his last 10 games for club and country. Salah is the only Liverpool player to have reached double figures in league goals this season and he stands out as the obvious choice for a goal-scorer against Burnley. Bet365 have 1.36 odds for him to score while Bet9ja have 1.50.

Lingard

Lingard continues his recent impressive form as a ‘brand new’ player for West Ham. That was more than evident as he scooped up the player of the month and also goal of the month for April. He might not have scored for some games now but a game against fallen West Brom could see him return to the score-sheet. Bet365 have 1.83 odds while Bet9ja have 2.25.

Kane

Harry Kane has netted 22-goals in the Premier League this season but can’t afford to rest on his laurels as Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has his eye on the Golden Boot award. The Tottenham and England captain has netted seven-goals in his last 10 appearances for club and country. Kane has also scored 6-goals in his last six appearances against Aston Villa, so will fancy his chances of adding to his tally this week. Bet365 have 1.50 odds while Bet9ja have 1.70.

Benteke

Christian Benteke is enjoying the second half of the season with the Eagles and almost has as many Premier League goals to his name as Arsenal’s Aubameyang. The Belgian striker has scored nine-goals in the Premier League this season and has scored five-goals in his last eight appearances for club and country. Benteke has registered goals in each of his last three league games and we’re backing him to score against Arsenal this Wednesday. Bet365 have 4.00 odds while Bet9ja have 4.25.
